FIJI Water Flying Fijians winger Joji Nasova is set to make his debut for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Hurricanes at Churchill Park, Lautoka, on Saturday.

Head coach Glen Jackson confirmed Nasova, the 'Toge Bullet' will start on the wing alongside Korobebe native Epeli Momo.

"He has been really good in his transition from sevens into the Fly ing Fijians. We're excited to see him perform.

"He's a quality player and a quality man. It's going to be great to get him on the field," Jackson said.

He said defensive discipline remains a key focus as the Drua prepare to host the Hurricanes.

"The magic number in any game is staying under 10 penalties, and in that area we've been really good."

He expects a strong contest, noting the Hurricanes have prepared thoroughly for the conditions.

"We've always had pretty good games against the Hurricanes, so it's a good team to have here. We're looking forward to a big crowd."

After two rounds, Jackson believes the side has not lost momentum despite last week's loss to the Waratahs.

"Last week, we played really well for 60 minutes. It's always tough on a six-day turnaround. The Waratahs are essentially the Wallabies team, so we were there or thereabouts," he said.

He praised the team's contact work and set-piece defence.

"Our mauls have been outstanding. No team has really broken us there, so we've worked hard around that. It's about our execution and continuing to go forward.

"There were a lot of big hits in that game and plenty of sore bodies on both sides.

"We're happy with the contact level."

Jackson added that the squad is excited about the young players getting their opportunity this week. The Drua v Hurricanes match kicks off at 3.35pm.
