The Kadavu Rugby Union (KRU) has renewed its partnership with Axellerate after re-signing a sponsorship deal at Axellerate’s office in Valelevu, Nasinu, yesterday.

Speaking to SUNsports, KRU president Lynda Tabuya said the union was proud to continue the partnership for another three years.

“We are proud and excited to acknowledge this sponsorship and partnership for the next three years,” she said.

“It is a partnership that reflects our shared commitment to performance, development and the future of Kadavu rugby.”

Tabuya said the union looked forward to continuing its relationship with Axellerate as the official apparel supplier.

“As president of the Kadavu Rugby Union, I thank you, Anthony (Toscano), and your team for believing in our vision and standing with us on our journey into the Skipper Cup competition,” she said.

Tabuya said this year’s merchandise would feature the union’s ancestral god, Rokobakaniceva, the octopus god, as part of the design.

Axellerate owner and founder Anthony Toscano said the company was proud to support KRU.

“Not only is Axellerate sponsoring Kadavu Rugby at the highest level, but it is also supporting the development of grassroots rugby. At Axellerate, our motto is ‘accelerating your performance’,” he said.

“We will supply both the men’s and women’s merchandise for this year’s Skipper Cup and Marama Cup competitions.”
