The selection door is not closed on Eminoni Nasilasila. This was revealed by Fiji Airways Fiji men's rugby sevens head coach Osea Kolinisau.
Speaking to SUN sports, the coach said Nasilasila is eager to make his comeback.
"I keep in contact with Noni," Kolinisau said.

"We still have that bond, and to me, it's really good to see Noni back playing again. You could see the impact he had on the Yaro Chiefs, controlling the game from playmaker.
He knows when to release the ball and when to hold it. Also, he knew when to change the direction of play and I think the Chiefs made a smart choice of having him control the game.
It shows the importance of having an experienced head at playmaker to direct the team."
Nasilasila was part of the Yaro Chiefs side that won the Coral Coast 7s tournament last Saturday defeating Ravuka Sharks 28-12 in the Cup final at Sigatoka's Lawaqa Park.
Kolinisau said Nasilasila has a chance of rejoining the Fiji 7s training squad.
"I have no problem with that. Nasilasila showed last week that he's still got it-especially the control he has over the game.
"I was excited to see Noni. There are players who are more in control, but I know what Noni can give. It's not a straight path, but I've been in contact with him ever since he was released," Kolinisau said.
The wily coach said he has reassured Nasilasila that he still has got what it takes to play internationally.
"Noni just need to get fit and play in local tournaments. I know a lot of people will question it."
Kolinisau also acknowledged that criticisms could arise if Nasilasila is selected now.
"I know if I select Noni early, people will say it's because we're mates and that I played with him. But I was so happy for Noni. Last week he showed he still has got it and controlled the game well. Even in the final, the conversions he kicked spoke volumes. He's a total package, he can defend, attack and kick as well."
