Naitasiri Rugby Union (NRU) president Aseri Rokoura has acknowledged the continued support of Jacks of Fiji, crediting the partnership for strengthening the province's rugby development on and off the field.

Speaking to the media yesterday Rokoura said, the collaboration with Jacks of Fiji through 2025 had contributed positively to Naitasiri Rugby's commercial visibility and development pathway; from grassroots to elite levels.

"I would like to wish a happy and blessed new year to our rugby family in Fiji, our fans, families, and everyone who continues to support the game, including our commercial partners," Rokoura said.

He said the NRU is hopeful that this season they would build on the momentum of the previous year.

"We hope there will be another interesting and successful season ahead of us."

Rokoura said the partnership with Jacks of Fiji, facilitated through Koi Colo Rugby Cooperative, the commercial arm of NRU, had helped strengthen the brand and visibility of the Naitasiri Koi Colo product.

"On behalf of Koi Colo Rugby cooperative and Naitasiri Rugby Union, I would like to sincerely thank Jacks of Fiji for the marketing support they provided last year. Their contribution helped us showcase the Naitasiri Koi Colo rugby brand more effectively;" he said.

Reflecting on the 2025 season, Rokoura said success could be measured in different ways across teams and individuals, and he acknowledged Jacks of Fiji's role in that progress.

"Rugby last year was successful in many ways, and Jacks was part of that journey;" he said.

Looking ahead to the continuation of the partnership, Rokoura said commercial backing played a crucial role not only at provincial level but also in inspiring young players.

"Support from companies like Jacks of Fiji ensures that our grassroots players and future champions see a pathway in rugby. It helps drive development beyond the provincial level and gives young players something to aspire to," he said.

Rokoura added that player welfare and family support remained key priorities for the union as the new season approaches.

"We pray for a successful season not just on the field, but for the wellbeing of our players and their families. We also look forward to seeing how our national team performs in the upcoming championships in the months and years ahead," he added.
