A few members of the Fiji men’s sevens side will boost the TISA Warriors side as they face Naceva Blues in their first match today at the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
The side is hoping to stamp their mark at the three-day tournament.
These national reps include Tira Patterson, Iokimi Vunaki, George Bose, Manueli Maisamoa, Sakiusa Siqila, Apete Narogo and Vuiviwa Naduvalo.
Other players are William Tawakedina, Maika Daucere, former Drua halfback Peni Matawalu, Aporosa Limawale, Vuiviwa Naduvalo and Suliano Savenaca.
TISA Insurance (formerly Capital Insurance) chief executive officer David Chan said they are clear of what they stand for being the Pacific’s and the community’s insurer.
He added that rugby brings people together and creates opportunities as well as inspire the next generation.
“We are here and protect futures – and to stand alongside our communities when it matters most. And in Fiji one of the most genuine ways to bring that to life is through rugby,” Chan said.

“The TISA Warriors represent our commitment to the communities we serve.
“We know the quality, discipline and the standard each of you bring. Many of you performed at the highest level, and we do not take it lightly that you are wearing the TISA jersey.
“When you step onto that field, you are not just representing TISA Insurance – play also for each other. Carry yourselves well and represent something bigger for all of us – the values that rugby in Fiji is built on: humility, courage, respect and pride.”
Chan also thanked TISA legends duo sevens maestro Waisale Serevi and Jerry Tuwai who will be playing tomorrow.
“Most importantly play in a way that people remember, long after the final whistle. Because if you do that, you will not only represent TISA with pride, you will represent Fiji the way it deserves.”
