RKS Eels eye strong start

The Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) Eels Under-19 team is looking forward to its first match against Lelean Knights today as the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League (FSSRL) competition kicks off.
Speaking to Sunsports on Thursday, Eels captain Sairusi Vela said the preparations has been on track.
“Our team has been preparing really well for this week match,” Vela said.

“We will not take this game lightly and we will not underestimate the Lelean Knights.”
He said that they would try to win the game with all their strength.
Vela added their goal is to win this year’s U19 title and take it to Delainakaikai.
He acknowledged the support as they begin their campaign.

The young prop from Naruwai, Dama, Bua was part of the RKS U18 team that won the Vodafone Super Deans final last year against Nasinu Secondary School, 53-15 at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
Games kick off at 8am at St Marcelin Primary School grounds.
