Eastern Saints Gold is backing its proven game plan as they prepare to face Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys (RKSOB) 2 in the Koroturaga final at HFC Bank stadium, Suva tomorrow.
Head coach Mesake Nanovu told SUNsports yesterday, the team had enjoyed a productive week of preparation and would focus on the discipline and teamwork that had carried it to the final.
“Our focus has been on staying consistent with the things that have brought us success throughout the season,” Nanovu said.

“We’ve worked on our execution, discipline and teamwork while preparing for the strengths of our opponents. The players have responded well and are looking forward to the challenge.”
Nanovu said the coaching staff had also concentrated on the finer details that could prove decisive.
“Reaching the final is a reward for the hard work everyone has put in throughout the season. The mood in camp is positive and everyone is excited.”
He acknowledged the quality of RKS OB 2 but said his side would concentrate on its own performance.
“They are a quality team and we respect them, but we’ve prepared well. Finals are always tough, so we have to be mentally and physically ready.”
Nanovu also thanked the club’s supporters and urged them to turn out in numbers.
The match kicks off at 3:45pm.
