Discipline proved costly for the Seni Ivi Brothers as they narrowly lost 7-5 to Marist St Joseph in a tense Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens clash.

Two yellow cards were being handed to the Seni Ivi Brothers, including a 95th-minute caution for a high tackle.

Another followed for direct contact to the neck, disrupting their rhythm.

Marist St Joseph’s 8th man Ratu Eroni Lutunamaravu scored the decisive try.

Ravuama Seruvakula added the conversion, giving them a 7-5 lead that held until full time.

Despite late pressure from Seni Ivi, they were unable to reclaim the lead.
