Taveuni is going to take each game at a time as they head into their first Skipper Cup season which kicks-off on August 1.
The men from the Garden Island will take on the defending champions Malolo in their opener.
They earned their spot after defeating Macuata 27-19 in the Vodafone Vanua Cup elimination final at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu on June 27.
Captain Samuela Kamikamica is calling for support ahead of their match.
"I am excited to play in the Skipper Cup; it has been three years since we've been trying to get this here," Kamikamica said.
"For me personally, this is a big achievement. I have never played at this level, and I had to return to my village and captain our team to qualify.
"I thank God for all He has done for me."
He added the journey to the top 12 has not been an easy one.
"When we started playing, we only have a few supporters. Many doubted us because we were not winning many matches.
''As the games moved on, we gained a lot of support not only in Taveuni but Viti Levu and overseas."
Kamikamica is calling on their supporters to back their team on their Skipper Cup journey and contribute towards the team in whatever way they can.
