Wingers Jiuta Wainiqolo and Salesi Rayasi are frontrunners to make the Flying Fijians squad for the Rugby Championship in June. 

Wainiqolo, who is the current top try scorer in the French Top 14 competition, scored another two tries for Lyon yesterday as they thrashed Montauban 73-12. 

For Bordeaux Begles, Rayasi scored two tries as they beat Castres 57-32. Elusive second-five eighth Vilimoni Botitu scored a try for Castres while Vuate Karawalevu was at centre. Rayasi also copped a yellow card in the 26th minute. 

Tighthead prop Luke Tagi and centre Sireli Maqala started for Bayonne as they narrowly went down 36-41 Racing 92.

Former Flying Fijians looseman Lekima Tagitagivalu made his return from injury to score a try for Racing 92 while robust Vinaya Habosi started at centre as he contained Maqala. 

Clermont started lock Tevita Ratuva and centre Alivereti Loaloa as they beat Seta Tuicuvu’s Toulon 34-14. 

Veteran flanker Levani Botia played for La Rochelle as they lost 33-43 to Montpellier. Speedy winger Peniasi Dakuwaqa got a yellow card in the 61st minute as his club Stade Francaise was beaten 13-9 by Toulouse.
