As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Lending Specialist to join our dynamic team in Suva.
About The Role
The Senior Lending Specialist is responsible for identifying and developing lending opportunities while delivering tailored finance solutions that achieve positive customer outcomes. The role involves building and maintaining strong professional networks, managing key customer relationships, conducting sound credit assessments, and contributing to business growth through the achievement of portfolio and sales
targets. The successful candidate will embody and promote CCFL's values while delivering exceptional customer service
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities across Credit Corporation's range of lending products and services to support growth and profitability objectives.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a high-quality lending portfolio through regular reviews and effective portfolio management.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and provide sound lending recommendations in
- accordance with company policies and credit standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to support long-term business growth.
- Foster productive relationships with Dealer Partners and other key stakeholders.
- Promote and market the Company's products and services across both retail and corporate segments.
- Ensure customer enquiries and applications are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Work closely with the General Manager Lending to achieve agreed business targets and KPIs.
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and responsible lending standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in lending, asset finance, banking, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong credit assessment and financial analysis skills with the ability to make sound lending recommendations.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer and business relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- A valid driver's license is required.
