Responsibilities
- Join the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP) as a Senior Project Manager and lead the delivery of significant energy and infrastructure investments in Papua New Guinea. You will oversee project planning, implementation and delivery for the PNG Electrification Project and Alternative Generation Project, while supporting procurement, stakeholder engagement and capability development within the Joint Program Management Office (JPMO).
- Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning and implementation of AIFFP energy sector projects, including the PNG
- Electrification Project and Alternative Generation Project.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, procurement, risks, financial oversight and reporting to
- support effective delivery.
- Coordinate with PPL, AIFFP, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, while
- mentoring and strengthening the JPMO team
Requirements
- We are seeking an accomplished project management professional with significant experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in project planning, procurement, implementation, financial and risk management, together with outstanding leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience working in Papua New Guinea or the Pacific region will be highly regarded.
