“Waking up early every morning, eating less than ideal meals, and enduring the rigorous training were some of the toughest challenges I faced,” he shared.
His journey was made possible through the unwavering support of his family.
His father, Sitiveni Qarau, a former Fiji and Navua soccer representative, reflected on the hardships of raising him.
“I struggled a lot so that I could raise my son well,” said the former national goalkeeper.
“At that time, I was living with very little, but I wanted him to have a future. I am proud that he has made his dream come true.”
PC Qarau expressed deep gratitude to his parents and grandmother for their constant encouragement throughout his journey.

“Stay true to your oath and always do what’s right.”
Now ready to serve and protect the people of Fiji, PC Qarau carries with him the discipline, dedication, and family legacy that shaped his journey from Naqelewai to the Fiji Police Force.
