With a theme similar to happy hour, the Urban Sugar Beach Club at Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa, Wailoaloa, Nadi hosted an event called Sugar Kiss Sunset last Friday.
The event, which was in collaboration with Victoria Wines, allowed certain guests to buy tickets for admission to get discounts on drinks at the club.
Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Brent Hill said these kinds of offerings kept Fiji exciting and fresh - not just for visitors, but for the local community as well.

"While Fiji is a well-loved and familiar destination, it's initiatives like this that add a new twist to what people can enjoy here," he said.
"They showcase our creativity; hospitality; and the unique lifestyle that makes Fiji so special."
Phillipa King, the event's hostess, (which during the event was known as a 'dreamweaver') said the event kicks off from 5.30pm to 8pm.
She also said this was where targeted guests, mainly ladies, could indulge to sip, spin, and sway as the sun melts into the horizon.
"It's ladies' day - every Friday at Urban Sugar Beach Club," said Ms King.
"The concept is such that guests join us for Sugar Kiss Sunsets and indulge in the perfect Friday escape - bottomless Miraval Rose wine, delicious food, and music to set the mood."
The Bottomless Miraval Rose wine was supplied by Victoria Wines.
The guests danced to music from Australian DJ Zannon Peters, who has links to South Africa and India.
''Amazing vibes. No better place to be," said Leah Abicair, a guest from Sydney.
"We had the best night at Urban Sugar! Recommended," said guest, Lorraine Jawabreh.
Fiji resident, Australian-born fashion designer Tracey Farrington was also present at the event.
"There is no better place like this to be in and run away from boredom at home," she said.
