Tiko Kece Taxis & Hire will have a new logo in two weeks. The change of logo came about when they found out that there was another taxi company using the same logo.
Tiko Kece Taxis & Hire director Loma Baleilevuka said they were changing the logo to protect the company.
“We are working on getting a new logo because some other taxi company in Nausori is using our logo,” Mr Baleilevuka said.

“We had our logo done in 2016, but we need to change it now.”
Mr Baleilevu is also encouraging all Tiko Kece Taxi drivers to install Global Positioning System (GPS) in their cars.
“Last week one of the drivers got out of his car to buy something leaving the key in the car,” he said.
“When he came back, he saw someone driving off with the car. Good thing another Tiko Kece driver saw him and asked what was wrong.
“The other Tiko Kece driver then called the base and told them what had happened. That was when one of our operators located the missing taxi using GPS and called other drivers to tell them where the car was located.
“Within half an hour other Tiko Kece drivers were able to intercept the stolen vehicle in Raiwai.
“This is the good thing about GPS. I have encouraged them to install GPS especially for incidents like this.
“Currently we have GPS installed in 100 of our taxis; hopefully more drivers will install GPS in their vehicles.”
