Sainiana Waqainabete Radrodro is no stranger to Fiji’s legal circle.
Less than a year ago she was acquitted in the Suva Magistrates Court for obtaining financial advantage by deception charges.
A case that loomed over her for a long and exhausting seven years.

Yesterday Ms Radrodro was admitted to the bar alongside her son Tevita Uluibau Cagilaba as one of the 42 new lawyers certified to practice law in Fiji.
The tides have changed and her next Court appearance will be as a legal counsel, member of the legal fraternity.
She owes her achievement to the almighty God without whom, she said, she would not have succeeded.
“It has been a long journey. One filled with so many challenges but where there is a will there is a way. Where there is God leading definitely it will not go wrong,” Ms Radrodro said.
“I want to thank God really, He is the source of everything. Without Him we would not be here.”
Amongst those she acknowledged is her husband, politician and Opposition Member of Parliament Aseri Radrodro and her brother, the Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Commission, Seremaia Waqainabete.
“I am grateful to my husband, children, siblings, family, communities. I am grateful to my former employers, to the government of Fiji.
“It is a proud day for me to do this and to do it with my son and to have my brother, who is the Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Commission also in the room, so there are three lawyers in the family now.”
Ms Radrodro wants to venture into Commercial law, however, she says moving forward she wants to continue inspiring youths.
“I want to continue to inspire young children as well. Young people particularly teenagers that life does not end with teenage pregnancy. Life does not end with one parent dying. Life does not end with the challenges of life,” she said.
“You need to continue to inspire yourself that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. To all the young people out there this is for you. You can do it.”
