Mum says birth of baby a blessing for entire family.

A mother of five was overwhelmed with joy when she welcomed her baby girl in the early hours of Christmas Day yesterday.
Mere Bui delivered baby Merewalesi Vere at 12.50am at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWMH).
The Kadavu native was the first mother of many who gave birth to their babies on Christmas Day at the CWM Hospital.

Ms Bui said the birth of her new-born on Christmas Day was a blessing, especially since it was the day Jesus was born.
As of 9am yesterday, CWM Hospital had recorded six births.
Meanwhile, the staff members of CWM Hospital were in holiday mood despite being at work.
The nurses spread the joy of Christmas and blessings of the birth of Jesus Christ as they welcomed families to visit their loved ones.
