A 25-year-old woman has turned personal loss into purpose, building a small jewellery business to support her mother in Suva.
Pooja Chand lost her father while in Class 7 and has since lived with her mother, Kamrul Nisha, 65. Today, the pair rely on a handmade jewellery business as their sole source of income.
Ms Chand, founder of Precious and Charm, started the business last year after receiving a grant, shortly after completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Management.
