Shalveen Travels In Style In Hybrid

Travelling in style is all the experience car racer Shalveen Kumar enjoys while on the road in his modified Hybrid 1.5.

From a far, his yellow painted ve­hicle can be easily spotted.

Mr Kumar’s love for cars started at a young age fixing cars at his home in Nepani.

He now owns four cars while oper­ating a small kava business.

“I like Hybrid cars because they are fuel efficient and require less maintenance works,” he said.

“I also run a car diagnostics busi­ness in Nepani where I import car parts for repair works.”

Mr Kumar has also participated in car shows where his car won best 1.5 prius award.

He is a member of Explicit Car Club and have participated in vari­ous car shows.

“I have spent around $7k in modi­fying my car from the wheels, ra­dio, lighting, sounds and the bump­ers.

“I like to add a unique look to my car because it reflects my love for cars.”

He plans to add more modification to his car.
