Sarah Stubbings is a leader in the financial services industry with more than 20 years’ experience across retail, commercial and institutional banking at major banks in Australia and the United Kingdom.
She is ANZ’s Regional Executive Pacific with responsibility for ANZ’s businesses across 10 Pacific markets. She is based in Suva while her husband lives in Melbourne, Australia.
Ms Stubbings plays a lead role in several areas through board director and leadership roles.

She is known for harnessing the power of digital, data and automation to move from startup to scalable business practices.
A chartered accountant, Ms Stubbings has contributed to many regulatory and industry initiatives. She has also been chief of staff at ANZ, Head of the Retail Middle Office and worked in Private Equity for a number of years for ANZ.
Prior, she worked for KPMG in New Zealand and held banking roles in the UK and Edinburgh.

How many places have you visited around Fiji?
I have been to Labasa, obviously I spend a lot of time in Suva and the West meeting our team in Nadi and Lautoka. Loving getting out and about in Fiji for the past six weeks.
What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to?
Toberua Island. My husband and I are actually going there soon.
What is your favourite place for coffee/pie?
I am not a coffee drinker but I absolutely love fresh juices at the Farmer’s Daughter which is close to where I live and also Mana Coffee.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to exercise, learn and listen to podcasts about business successes and failures.
What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list?
I would like to visit the outer islands and Denarau.
