A single mother of Cunningham Stage 4 was in for an surprise after she won a brand-new Nissan x-trail 7-seater vehicle.
The $85,000 vehicle was the major price of the Mother’s Day Promotion by MH MaxVal-u Supermarket in collaboration with Goodman Fielder.
The Mother’s Day Promotion draw was held at the MHCC shopping mall in Suva on June 10, where Pinu Devi’s number was the lucky winner.

Ms Devi works at Narhari Electrical Co Pte Ltd in High Street, Toorak Suva where she received the call.
“I was so emotional when I got the call that I won the car because I thought of all the struggles that I went through as a single parent,” Ms Devi said.
Ms Devi is an inventory officer, a role she had on for the past seven years.
She said the car would be gifted to her 21 year – old son, who studies engineering at the University of the South Pacific.
Her son celebrated his birthday last March.
Ms Devi learnt of the promotion after she spent $200 worth of shopping at the MH MaxVal-u Supermarket in Suva.
She was asked by the cashier to fill in her contact details at the back of the receipt and drop it at an entry bin beside the counter.
