Three years ago, Anare Kuruduadua of Vunilagi Settlement, Cakaudrove used his land to plant yaqona, root crops and vegetables.

Three years ago, Anare Kuruduadua of Vunilagi Settlement, Cakaudrove used his land to plant yaqona, root crops and vegetables.

Last year he expanded his business to include a fish pond business.

In it, he breeds tilapia, prawns and grass carp in eight ponds.

Through the ministry’s Self-Help Programme (SHP) as­sistance of $15,000 he was able to carry out land prepara­tion for four of his fish ponds
