Another Art & Fashion Show Next Year

Savusavu can expect another art and fashion week next year, following the support it gathered at its inaugural opening.

Daku Resort and Fiji Arts Council – organ­isers of the festivities – said artists would spend the week in information sessions to elaborate on their work, and explain the behind-the-scenes processes in the art.

Students from nearby schools have been invited to join in the talanoa sessions.

For the second festival, resorts and hotel­iers have been encouraged to join as part­ners, to offer alternate host options.

Fiji Arts Council has extended the invita­tion to tourism operators in Macuata and Taveuni, to host future festivities.
