In December, Asia-Pacific had 155 million seats, or 37 per cent of the world’s capacity on offer, well ahead of North America with 99.7 million.

With most of the world dumping travel restrictions, global airline capacity continues to inch closer to pre-COVID levels.

The latest figures from schedules analyzer, Official Airline Guides (OAG) show that global capacity for December 2022 ammounted to 420.5 million seats, up by 9.4 per cent compared to November.
