Ilisoni Rabeti is now a nurse at Kokomo Private Island Resort after being employed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and as a prison officer.
Originally from Vaturova, Cakaudrove, Mr Rabeti started working as a nurse at the five-star resort in Yaukuve Levu Island from November, 2021.
The 32-year-old father believes that trying new things will motivate you to be a better person.

“After graduating from Fiji School of Nursing, I worked as a nurse for six years in Viti Levu and then resigned to work at the Fiji Corrections Service for three years,” Mr Rabeti said.
“Now I feel happy to be in the tourism sector where my job is to cater to guests’ medical needs and during this time it’s mainly swabbing.”
The former student of Labasa College said he felt blessed to help guests coming in from Australia and the United States.
“Nothing is impossible when you are determined, even if it means trying out a new profession,” the eldest of five siblings said.
“My parents are my inspiration and myrole model is Martin Luther King.”

What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list, and why?
Yasawa Island.
It is one of the best tourism place and I want to be there during my holidays with my family.
