Better Days Ahead For Sugar Cane Farmers: Charan Jeath Singh

There will be better days ahead for farmers, says Minister for Sugar Charan Jeath Singh. 

Mr Singh said the next budget would accommodate more incentives to assist cane farmers.

“In the next budget, our Government will try and facilitate in such a way to give money to plant cane,” Mr Singh said.

“The Ministry of Finance will be looking into providing some bonuses when farmers improve the tonnage."
