Recent findings at Fiji’s next gold mine suggest the forma­tion of mineralised centres independent of earlier discoveries.

The “compelling evidence” with­in the Navilawa Caldera suggests lodes formed from a zone “entirely independent” of Tuvatu, says Lion One, owner and operator of the al­kaline gold site near Nadi.

“It starts to prove that there are several Tuvatus in the Navilawa Caldera,” Lion One chief executive officer, Walter Berukoff, told Sun­Biz yesterday.
