Grills Restaurant and Bar opened in Nadi, after it was officially launched by Minister for Commerce, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya.
The venture is the second enterprise owned by brothers Vimal and Divesh Kumar, after they opened their first restaurant in Laucala Bay, Suva, in 2020.

Grills Restaurant and Bar is part of a global brand that originates from the capital of Lisbon in Portugal.
Its Nadi operation employs 18 Fijians.
“My father, my brother and I started this restaurant venture back in 2020,” Vimal said.
“It was a very difficult time for any business globally, especially in Fiji where the tourism industry was greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We partner with the local suppliers and farmers in sourcing our fresh ingredients locally.”
Mr Koya said a healthy menu supported by 80 per cent of local producers, and purchased from Fijian-owned companies, was a perfect example of food experience that connected Fijian flavours.
