Burger King Fiji Signs Upskilling Deal With FNU

Renowned fast food restaurant, Burger King Fiji, has partnered with the Fiji National University (FNU), for upskilling and reskilling opportunities.
Signed recently, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) would allow the FNU alumni to conduct training at any Burger King outlet.
FNU acting vice-chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, said the initiative would help the university achieve its strategic objectives.

FNU alumni are entitled to discount benefits and engagement opportunities at any Burger King outlet, if they are part of the programme.
“I encourage former students of the FNU to join our exclusive alumni connect platform to enjoy various benefits such as discounts and employment opportunities,” she said.
“At FNU, we are a family, and we want to be able to provide for our students even after they leave our lecture halls, dorm rooms and campuses.
“The partnership emphasises our commitment to fostering, engaging, and growing our relationship with our alumni and corporate organisations such as Burger King.”
Burger King Fiji head of operations, Kavinesh Reddy, announced the company would open its seventh outlet in Lautoka, which gives FNU more room to train its students.
