Cacao Fiji was awarded silver during the inaugural 2022 South Pacific Excellence Award in Adelaide, Australia.

The three-day event provided a platform for cocoa farmers to showcase their work to the Australian consumers and international markets and study the genomic profile of the South Pacific.

Cacao Fiji founder Arif Khan said the award was a result of their hard work.

There is some excellent research and growth of the fine cocoa industry in Cairns, Australia, headed by some passionate individuals.
