Chaudhry Invited To Lead Board
Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry has been invited to lead the Fiji Sugar Corporation board.

Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry has been invited to lead the Fiji Sugar Corporation board.
Minister for Sugar, Charan Jeath Singh made Government’s intentions known while meeting with the Nadi Chamber of Commerce and industry stakeholders on Friday. It was his first public engagement in Nadi.
Mr Singh said that it was key to have the right stakeholders to be on the sugar board.

“I know Mahendra Chaudhry, he is a very outspoken person. He has been defending sugarcane farmers and he was Sugar minister himself.
“I personally invited him to join the board which will be announced next week officially. We need people inclusively. It is about time to bring people together rather than separating and creating a hostile environment.”
