Fiji is still open to international trade, Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said.
Freight planes continued to travel to Fiji, he said, adding that ships continued to travel to Fiji for freight purposes.
He said Fiji’s trade missions abroad were open although those in countries with curfews had to adhere to the respective countries’ rule.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum urged businesses and exporters to come forward with their concerns as the Ministry of Industry Trade and Tourism remained the focal point in respect of concerns related to the curfew which comes into force today.
“We are here to ensure that businesses continue to operate, supply chains continue to remain open.
