Date Set For Rice Farmers Awards

Five female rice farmers are part of the 40 nominations applying for the Fiji Rice Limited farmers’ awards that has been scheduled to take place on 21st January, next year.
This was confirmed by the Fiji Rice Limited general manager Ashrit Pratap yesterday.
“The tentative date for the awards day was December 17 but due to the General Election it was on hold,” Mr Pratap said.

Rice farmers had time till November 15 to submit their nominations for the awards.
