Different Directions: Chalmers Resigns A Year After Appointment

An outgoing chief execu­tive officer has cited dif­ferences in direction with the Government, as a reason for stepping down from his position, a year after taking office.

An outgoing chief execu­tive officer has cited dif­ferences in direction with the Government, as a reason for stepping down from his position, a year after taking office.

Fiji Airports chief executive of­ficer, Rowan Chalmers, will work through the transition until his replacement is appointed.

“The new government had a view that they wanted to take the airports in a different direction,” he said.
