Digicel Fiji is working with Nokia to upgrade cell tower sites across the country as it prepares for the rollout of 5G connectivity for customers.
The upgrades are progressing in Suva as Digicel Fiji anticipates the imminent completion of 5G testing and regulatory approvals by the Government.
“Nokia’s cutting-edge equipment will enable us to not only sustain, but also improve coverage across the country, boosting mobile internet speeds and embracing transformative technologies like 5G,” Digicel Fiji chief executive officer, Farid Mohammed said.
