When we write an email / communicate in writing or verbally, there is total projection of the writer / speaker and the organisation.
Projection details the knowledge confidence of the person, the accuracy and clarity of the information and the language used (vocabulary, tone and attitude, Tools of Language).
The image of the organisation projected impacts the stake holders, customers and clients.
In many of my classes I have seen inappropriate use of vocabulary, ambiguous messages, hyper formal or casual language and excessive grammatical errors.
These writers exhibit personality traits and attitude that add negativity to them and the institutions they represent. We must remember that communication is the key to success for any organisation and of phenomenal importance in this dynamic and demanding century.
This same rule applies every day that in order to be understood you must be able to express yourself clearly.
In a year I conduct approximately 20-15 trainings whether it’s in house or public trainings in the areas of Business Communications.
Organisations should invest in these trainings to ensure that their staff are on par with the current world of business.
