Farmboy Fiji Showcases Products at Naturally Good Expo

Products from local company Farmboy Fiji, were showcased at this year’s Naturally Good Expo, at ICC Sydney, Australia.

The exhibition for the latest healthy and sustainable product was a stage for brands to showcase the latest innovations and for buyers to secure healthy additions for their shelves.

Farmboy Fiji director Kamlesh Prasad said suppliers from up to 2500 companies were part of the event.

“It is part of our research into the market and food trends which help us evaluate our products and sort of sets our benchmarks,” Mr Prasad said.

“Apart from giving the market our product, we want to see where we stand, what improvement we must do in the packaging and modelling.

“It’s not only what we’re selling, but learning and evaluating products.”

Several Fiji companies were present at the expo including:- 

• Down to Earth Fiji,
• TaveNiu,
• Golden Ocean,
• Vinaka Agriculture,
• Juice Fiji,
• Lami Kava,
• Loloma Fiji, and
• Road Kings Farms.

The companies travelled at their own expense to the expo to get possible leads and connections that could result in securing major deals.

Investment Fiji chief executive officer, Kamal Chetty the expo fostered growth which translated into increased employment opportunities in Fiji.

“Participation in international expos allows our companies to gain valuable insights into the latest practices and regulations followed by leading global brands,” Mr Chetty said.

“This equips them to compete effectively in the international market while continuously improving their service quality and adhering to the highest food safety standards.”
