For the past three years, Chinese tourist, Xu Shenqiun, has waited to step foot in Fiji.
Her dream was realised at the weekend, when she arrived at Nadi as the national airline recommenced its service to Hong Kong.
On board was 260 passengers. Outside, the Tourism minister, Viliame Gavoka and airline managing director and chief executive officer, Andre Viljoen, waited to welcome the first group of passengers on the direct flight arrivals since 2020.
