Fiji Airways Rises To Meet Demands

The additional flights to Singapore was a response to the demand that rose on the back of closed access to Hong Kong.

Flights to Singapore and Brisbane will increase from next week, as the na­tional airline steps up to meet increasing demand in travel.

The confirmation from Fiji Airways yesterday comes on the heels of mounting social media chatter about the coinci­dence over the launch of the additional flights as heightened excitement gathers in the lead up to the national elections on December 14.

Managing director and Chief Executive Officer, An­dre Viljoen, said the deci­sion to increase flights to the two destinations was made way before the na­tional election date was decided.
