The Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards has been deferred due to new developments regarding COVID-19.
Chairman of the trustees for the FETA awards Bill Whiting said this has been in light of the continuing impact of coronavirus and in decisions made in the past 24 hours.
“The trustees have decided to defer the awards event to a date yet to be announced.”

The awards was to have taken place this afternoon at the Sheraton Fiji Resort but the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama who was to be been the chief guest had to return to Suva.
The main awards was deferred last week to the a lower scale event which was scheduled for today.
