Fiji Ports Terminal Limited Staff Get Over $400,000 In Bonus Payout

Over 400 Fiji Ports Terminal Limited staff members will share a bonus payout of $437, 331 for the year ending December 31, 2019.
The announcement was made by Fiji Ports Terminal Limited chairman Hasmukh Patel yesterday.
Mr Patel said they had always recognised and valued human capital and never hesitated rewarding those who contribute to the company’s welfare and prosperity.

“This year’s staff bonus will be shared amongst 428 staff members comprised of permanent employees, registered workers and day contractors,” Mr Patel said.
“Similar to previous occasions, this bonus payout is also based on assessment of individual key performance indicators in line with a robust framework,” he said.
In 2018 and 2019, the board and the management embarked on a job evaluation on salary and reward schemes to keep it in line with the company’s performance management system.
“This is to uplift the overall standards of FPTL and transform FPTL to an employer of choice,” Mr Patel said while adding that changes would reflected from next year.
