Want to go for a joy ride in the skies? Want to enjoy an “International” travel experience while seeing the glories of Fiji from the air?

Fiji Airways will be launching a Travel ready flight onboard its brand-new Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft.

According to a Fiji Airways Get Travel Ready statement, the purpose of these trips was to ensure that when borders do open, the airline was confident with its level of preparedness for flights in a COVID-19 world.

Fiji Airways spokesperson said most of the seats will be available for sale.

This flight will be open to members of the public to enjoy the experience of flying again.

What to expect:

• FJ 679 will be operated using brand a new Fiji Airways A350-900 XWB aircraft.

With state-of-the art Business and Economy class cabins, the Airbus A350 is considered to be the most advanced commercial passenger aircraft in the world.

• The flight will operate under the new normal Travel ready guidelines, which means that there will be changes to some products and services onboard.

Please note that you are required to bring your facemasks with you when you arrive at the airport for the flight.

• A more streamlined food and beverage service will be offered, in line with what to expect on a one-way short haul international flight.

So, you can still enjoy a meal, drinks, inflight entertainment and enjoy our state of the art A350 aircraft.

Note: Online booking systems will show FJ679 as a Nadi (NAN) -Pacific Harbour (PHR) flight.

This is simply due to the booking system needing two different departure and arrival airports for commercial flights.

The flight will depart and land at Nadi International Airport.

• Time of departure from Nadi: 10.30am
• Time of arrival into Nadi: 1.15pm

Prices of seats available on business and economy cabin:

• A350 Business Class; $350 per person, inclusive of food, drinks and inflight entertainment onboard.
• A350 Bula Space Economy Class; $200 per person, inclusive of food, drinks and inflight entertainment onboard.
• A350 Economy Class; $150 per person, Inclusive of food, drinks and inflight entertainment onboard.
