Grace Road To Launch Potato Farm

Grace Road Farms was provided four tons of potato seedlings by Government in a new venture announced at the company’s Sabeto farm in Nadi yesterday.

Minister for Agriculture, Mahendra Reddy, said potatoes needed to be planted on a large scale to be a viable commodity.

He said the ministry would not venture into small scale potato farming.

“Grace Road has the manpower, machinery and technology to get this done,” Mr Reddy said as he commissioned the potato farm.
