Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa With Doubletree Resort By Hilton Fiji Appoints Javed Rahim As New Cluster Commercial Director

Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji have appointed Javed Rahim as the new cluster commercial director.

Mr Rahim has qualifications such as Master of Business Administration and certifications through Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), Asia Pacific, and 12 years of industry experience in Fiji.

“Javed’s passion for tourism and hospitality and his extensive commercial knowledge makes him the perfect fit to lead both Hilton properties, in achieving its business goals,” said David Wells, general manager, Fiji.

“I am honoured to be the first local to hold this role at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji,” said Mr Rahim.

“My position here allows us to unlock new business opportunities, and to ensure our hotels are the top choice for guests travelling to the area, for business and leisure alike.”

Prior to joining Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji, Mr Rahim worked with various resorts in Fiji.

These included the Outrigger Hospitality Group, Shangri-La Yanuca Island Fiji, Starwood Group (now Marriott), and Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa.

Mr Rahim worked for many years with various community organisations for many years, and looks forward to playing an integral part in the hotel’s Travel with Purpose activities as part of Hilton’s commitment to corporate responsibility the community and environment.
