Hot Bread Kitchen Explains 48-Hour Closure Of Butt Street Bakery

The bakery closed its Butt St shop for 48 hours from yesterday, pending swab results of staff members who worked on the shifts.

Hot Bread Kitchen in Butt Street, Suva, remains closed pending swab results of its staff.

The move follows revelations of a customer who tested positive to COVID-19.

On May 31, and two consecutive days, a frequent customer of Hot Bread Kitchen who visited the bakery’s LICI Building in Butt Street Suva, tested positive to COVID-19.

Managing director, John Samisoni made the remarks in a company statement he issued over the temporary shut down of the Butt St shop.
