Invivo Wines Enters Fiji

“We make these wines particularly to go with food and especially like seafood, fresh seafood. The Sauvignon Blanc goes well with fish, (salmon and tuna) so it’s a great, good food match,” said Mr Lightbourne.

Fiji became the 43rd country in the world where the highly successful New Zealand beverage Group Invivo has entered.

Invivo Group co-owner Tim Lightbourne revealed this during their launch with their local distributor Victoria Wines at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa’s Waitui Beach Club, Denarau on Wednesday.

This is the latest addition to their portfolio that includes a range of wines plus a collaboration with celebrities and a few other ranges, including award-winning actress Sarah Jessica Parker on the Invivo X SJP range and Irish comedian, TV show host, and actor, Graham Norton with a selection of both wines and spirits.

“We are excited to launch our wines here in Fiji and it’s a really interesting market,” Mr Lightbourne said.

“It’s growing fast. There are lots of great resorts around Fiji and we see a lot of wine coming up here, so we wanted to be part of it. It’s a beautiful place and I love being here.

“We make these wines particularly to go with food and especially like seafood, fresh seafood. The Sauvignon Blanc goes well with fish, (salmon and tuna) so it’s a great, good food match,” said Mr Lightbourne.

Victoria Wines general manager Kem Chand said after a few challenging years during the pandemic, the company has started to rebuild and extend its portfolio to meet the strong demand from international visitors and local customers for a wide selection of well-priced and great quality beverage products.

“This has included several new wineries, strong international and craft Spirit brands, as well as a new range of non-alcoholic beverages,” said Mr Chand.
