James Cook Hotel To Open Soon

James Cook Hotel located on Suva’s Mitchell Street, off  Macgregor Road, is set to open soon.

The hotel which was developed by Labasa businessman and hotelier, Paul Jaduram, in 2014 was sold to a Chinese investor for $5.2 million this year.

However the new management team is not releasing the exact date of the opening of the hotel.As a new player, James Cook Hotel will provide competition to other prime hotel properties in the Suva CBD area. The hotel is expected to create jobs but its management is reluctant to give details at the staff.The five storey hotel has a total of 40 rooms. The hotel’s car park located on the ground level with entrance from Gorrie St can cater up to 14 vehicles at any one time.
