KATA Fiji Bongo Chilli Sauce is excited to announce that they have partnered with My Fiji Essentials to bring their Hot Sauce to the United States of America.
The sauce will be available in their online store myfijiessentials.com with free shipping within the United States, starting this month.
KATA Fiji Bongo Chilli Sauce general manager, Scott Wade, said he was aiming to export to the United States of America and Australia by the end of the year. He said that he and his team, are excited to have reached their set 2020 milestones.

He is also investigating opportunuties in New Zealand and other countries in 2021.
Mr Wade explained that, since COVID-19 hit Fiji, their sales to the hospitality sector had dropped, but he has focused on getting the product to the larger supermarket chains around Fiji and to explore international markets.
Mr Wade said: “We have been able to expand our markets despite the onset of COVID 19 and have maintained our employee level.”
“We started to sell KATA Fiji Bongo Chili Sauce in September 2019 following the business establishment process.
“This included sourcing the unique bottles from China, working with Dom Sansom, and his team at JKM Enterprises in Suva, on the label, and perfecting the sauce for bulk production, with the assistance of Karuna Pillay from Valley Fresh”.
“We are excited to announce that our first international shipments have been dispatched to Naniukalou Logistics which is based in California, and to The Essential Ingredient in Sydney Australia.”
Currently, KATA Fiji Bongo Chilli Sauce is supplied to major supermarkets around Fiji as well as Vuda Marina Boatshed Restaurant and General Store, Cardo’s Steakhouse and Cocktail Bar at Port Denarau and many other establishments.
Celebrity chef Lance Seeto showcases our sauce in some of his local delicacies at Kanu Restasurant in Eden Plaza, Martintar.
Kata Fiji Bongo Chili Sauce is locally produced in the Sigatoka based Valley Fresh factory. The delicious chillies are all sources from local Fijian farmers while the vinegar is made in Sigatoka.
