Kini Saukuru is new Global BedBankCMO

Global BedBank has appointed tourism executive Kini Saukuru as its new chief marketing officer(CMO).

Global BedBank Pte Limited an­nounced the appointment last week, de­scribing it as a strategic move to boost brand presence, customer engagement, and technology-led growth across Fiji and the wider Pacific. Chair Bill Whiting said the company was pleased to welcome Ms Saukuru to its senior leadership team.

"Kini is a highly respected tourism ex­ecutive, and we are honoured to have her join our leadership team," he said.

Mr Whiting said Ms Saukuru would lead marketing and promotion of Global BedBank's expanding technology port­folio, including AI-powered chatbots, advanced database systems, websites, and secure online payment solutions delivered through its subsidiary, Vaizee Pte Ltd, alongside the company's Pacific BedBank distribution services.

"Travel is powered by people, but scaled by technology, and Pacific BedBank brings the two together," Ms Saukuru said.

"My focus as CMO is to build a clear, results-driven marketing strategy that supports revenue growth while strength­ening the Pacific BedBank brand.

"At the end of the day, technology and strategy matter, but it's people and rela­tionships that truly drive long-term suc­cess," she said. Ms Saukuru also praised the compa­ny's local workforce. "Give people the right tools, trust, and direction, and they will thrive."
