When you think about it, almost every home in Fiji has an FMF product.

And when parallels are drawn, every home in Fiji needs good leadership, needs a leader who is aware of how they are leading and the legacy they are building daily for the next generations.

The comments from Salt Inc Pte Ltd yesterday following the sponsorship sighing for Legacy Leadership Symposium 2024.

FMF signed on as a golden sponsor for the upcoming event which will be held at Sofitel Resort, Denarau. FMF has naming rights for the March 13-15 symposium.

FMF aligned with the symposium for the purposes of equiping leaders and building legacies, said group marketing manager Maria Kumar.

"Our logo, A promise of quality, is also about building quality leadership, which has been the journey of FMF, since we established 50 years ago," she said.

Salt Inc Pte's Ana Laqeretabua said the partnership and leadership at private sector level, raised the "vision of Legacy Leadership Symposium" to transform the leadership landscape in the Pacific and build a legacy that will positively impact generations to come."

The team of Pacific leadership practitioners embarked on the collaboration in 2022, and launched the Legacy Leadership Symposium (LLS) in April last year (2023) in Nuku'alofa, a joint statement from FMF and Salt Inc said.

It was in Tonga that the partners agreed on an annual convention of Pacific based emerging and seasoned leaders, with the objective to build and strengthen effective resilient leaders, the joint statement said.

The three-day FMF Legacy Leadership Symposium will provide participants with an opportunity to learn from international and regional leadership practitioners, under themes that include:

■ cultivating the leader within you;

■ styles of leadership in the marketplace;

■ personal growth - leader grow themselves in order to grow others.

"The LLS partners and key sponsor FMF are encouraging those who have a hunger to be better leaders to join this event," the statement said.

"It is an opportunity to be part of a Pacific cohort of change-driven and growth- oriented leaders. Participants will switch their mindset from positional leadership to self-leadership, success to significance, and from leading to building a leadership legacy.

"Through practical transformational leadership training tools, participants will get to experience rich learning, fresh ideas, new views and inspirational insights."

Registration closes late February 2024.
